September 14-15, 2022 | Houston Dow Center
The two-day workshop features a combination of brief lectures, tutorials, toolkit demos, and hands-on sessions.
Using the SYNOPSIS prototype software toolbox, attendees will:
- Learn phenomena-based modeling for the conceptual design of conventional and intensified reaction/separation systems
- Perform high-fidelity steady-state and dynamic modeling for intensified process systems
- Apply advanced model predictive control optimization techniques to overcome operability challenges of highly integrated systems
- Obtain hands-on experience to solve real-world industrially relevant engineering problems involving modular process intensification
